Network Marketing Duplication
Since 1988 when I joined my first network marketing company I have been taught the value of duplication. In
fact, most experts will tell you duplication is the absolute key to network marketing success. If this is true, then why do so many
people fail when they try network marketing? For the most part its because of failed duplication systems and
a lack of proper training. Most people have a very low tolerance for pain and they associate any kind
of selling with extreme pain. In fact, many sales trainers have said that people's fear of selling is right
up there with the fear of death, so it's no wonder people have problems with network marketing.
With the advent of online network marketing and the automation of
systems people like me thought duplication would be a whole lot easier. A new set of problems arose however
and it has led to a long road of trial and error to discover what will work for the average person.
Most people are not like me, they aren't willing to give up 10 years of their life perfecting the ultimate sales funnel. They want to plug into something that has
already proven successful and start making money with just a few mouse clicks. In the past I've run ad
coops that spent as much as $70-80,000 per month and were able to recruit 1000 new distributors per month but the
problem was that they were unsustainable. The exponential growth factor always comes into play so if
you haven't properly established your base, you are destined to fail in the end. That's why training and
developing leaders is so incredibly important.
In mid 2003 I adopted a philosophy called network team building that involves:
Attracting the right type of people
Determining which ones have a burning desire.
Helping them get off to a very fast start.
Hold your leaders accountable
Now, the most important aspect of this is attracting the right people. That's why when putting
together the Team Building Network I've gone to great lengths to weave our philosophy into every part of our
system. We want to attract like minded people who want to work together to achieve a common goal.
Network marketing is not an easy business in which to achieve success and it's impossible to do alone. That's
why it's so important to attract a group of people that are as much like you as possible.
Once you begin attracting the right people you have to be able to determine which ones have the burning desire
to succeed. This business requires a level of persistence to break through in the beginning
and most people will give up before it happens. Finding those with a burning desire who are
willing to follow your training system is an absolute key to success!
Upon finding one of these individuals commit yourself 100% to helping that person become successful.
Your sales funnel will still be working for you however now when someone joins your organization make sure
they are placed beneath this emerging leader. In this way you are transferring some of the
responsibility over to this new leader, but their income is growing as a result.
Hold your leaders accountable! Do not do all the work for them. The reason network
marketing companies pay out several levels of compensation because several levels of leaders should be supporting
each distributor. Once success begins to happen however, many distributors will begin to coast thinking that
the others in the group will take care of their people. This is not allowable! It will destroy
the organization by putting additional stress on your best leaders and rewarding laziness. If you find this
to be the case, find a new leader to build immediately!
