Setting Up A Sales Funnel

An effective sales funnel is something that is constantly talked about in the online marketing world and many top marketers have tried to bring it over to the world of online network marketing with mixed results.  They usually focus almost all of their attention on the squeeze page and sales pitch giving little regard to how well it will work for their members.  I developed my first sales funnel back in 1998 before it was much talked about, it was something that came natural to me.   I had just figured out that it was possible to buy PPC advertising from GOTO.com and I wanted to funnel everything through our sales presentation.   Once I had that working I had my programmer create a rotational script so that all who paid for the advertising could share in an equal amount of traffic, it was pretty cutting edge back then!  Over the years I've developed several such systems and each time the results were a little more spectacular with one attracting over a half million prospects over a 10 month period and signing up over 1000 new distributors per month at it's peak.   The problem however has always been that when you are dealing with exponential growth it's very hard to sustain because you don't develop leadership fast enough to keep up with the number of new members.

That's why this time I'm setting up the system backwards, focusing most of my attention on training and building the philosophy that is shared by group members.   That philosophy is "The greatest good, for the greatest number of people" and it is something that we are passionate about.  The reason network marketing companies pay out several levels of commission is because several levels of leaders are meant to support each distributor, but in reality this never happens.  What I have found is that a few dedicated leaders attempt to make up for the 98% who are looking for a free ride.  However, it's not really the fault of the people joining because most people set up their sales pitch offering a free ride and they attract those people who expect one.
